The First 5 Heart Pieces, you have to plant Magic Beans when you are young and come back when you are old. You can get them at Zora's River.
1. Dodongo's Cavern
2. Kakariko Village - Upper left side (near Dampé's Grave)
3. Death Mountain Crater
4. Lake Hylia, by the Laboratory
5. Spirit Temple
6. Lon Lon Ranch: Go to the North of the Ranch and bomb the tree
7. Hyrule Field: Throw a bomb into the big section of grass that's fenced in on the way to Lake Hylia.
8. Kakariko Village: Go to Death Mountain. Have the owl bring you down and fall to the wooden awning on the right side.
9. lon Lon Ranch: Go to the north-right of the ranch. Enter the building and move the crates, so you can go throught the passage.
10. Kakariko Village: Use your longshot to get on the purple roof and talk to the man there. Or stand on the platform that you go to after going through the back door of the potion shop. Stand on the very edge and hookshot to the roof.
11. Kakariko Village: Play the digging game with Dampé during the night.
12. Kakariko Village: Beat Dampé's Spirit race, on his grave.
13. Kakariko Windmill: After you race Dampé and you have the hookshot, play the Song of time in the next room and go past the Blue Stone.
14. House of Skulltulas: When you have 50 Skulltulas, you'll get a piece of heart as a reward.
15. Zora's River: Play the Song of Storms for the frogs.
Zora's River: Continue playing songs for the Frogs by helping them catch bugs.
16. Ice Cavern: Melt the red ice with the blue flame.
17. Market: Win the Treasure Game .
18. Zora's River: Grab the chicken that's in the middle of the Circle of Stones. Glide with it to the platform on the bank, climb the ladder and glide with the other chicken.
19. Market: Keep winning at the Bombchu game.
20. Lake Hylia: Get the Golden Scales and dive into the well in the Laboratory.
21. Gerudo's Fortress: Use your hookshot to get to the chess that's on the roof of the Fortress.
22. Gerudo's Fortress: On the other side of the waterfall use the chicken and jump into the canyon.
23. Lost Woods: Play the Ocarina with the Two Skull Kids.
24. Lost Woods: Play the Ocarina with the Skull Kid.
25. Gerudo's Fortress: While on Epona shoot the targets and collect 1000 pts. The price is a piece of Heart.
26. Gerudo's Fortress: On the way to it, take a chicken and jump throught the waterfall.
27. Goron City: Throw a bomb in the Giant Urn when it's spinning.
Death Mountain Crater: Go as an adult with the Goron's Tunic and explore the walls. Here is a hint. Go in through the mountain entrance and WALK to the edge and keep on going. You will climb down to a alcove containing the piece.
28. Lake Hylia: Catch the biggest fish in the Fishing Game.
29. Market: wait until night, get the woman’s dog, and take it to her (it's a white dog)
30. Zora's Fountain: Get the Iron Boots and the Zora's Tunic and submerge yourself in the fountain.
31. Zora's Fountain: Go as an adult and pry the Ice Block away
32. Zora's Domain: Light all of the torches, including the two behind the waterfall.
33. Zora's River: Take the first chicken to the entrance of Zora's Domain and glide to get another one.
34. Zora's River: Bring the first chicken all the way to the waterfall and glide to the Heart Piece.
